RECIPE: Brown Fish

SERVES: 4 - 6
INGREDIENT:
6 slices of fresh skinless de-boned fish slices, salt and pepper to
taste,1 cup flour, 2 onions,
2 carrots, 2 tomatoes all cut in dices or slices, (optional: French
beans and bell peppers), Fish stock or water, oil to fry the fish
slices, parsley.
DIRECTION:
Salt and pepper the fresh cleaned fish cut in pieces of your liking, add some flour
to each side of the fish slices and
deep fry in pan (quickly) until
golden
brown on both sides and take the fish out of the pan, pour the oil out
of the pan and set aside, in the same pan
sauté
the vegetables, (tomatoes, onions and carrots, when done add the fish
stock or water to that mix and simmer for a while, then add the fish to
the mix and
simmer about 4 to 5 more minutes. Serve
and sparkle some chopped parsley on top
Note:
Serve with some boiled potatoes and a nice dry white
wine, like for example a Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Macon Village etc.
